Bearta...A Proud Lebanese-born U.S. Citizen

I was born in Lebanon and fortunate enough to make a long journey to the U.S., seeking a safer future. The death of our parents, the orphanage, the war, all helped me and my siblings find inner strength and the ability to land on both feet in whatever situation we are in. We were always there for each other, and we protected each other no matter what came our way. View some of my childhood photos.
My story
starts in Lebanon, a small and beautiful country that can be described as a
rose with bleeding thorns. Continuous religious and political conflicts left
behind misery. We lost our parents, and virtually every relative, but we
gained brothers and sisters at the orphanage that took us in. Lying
somewhere between the woeful Baudelaires in Lemony Snickets A Series of
Unfortunate Events, and the legendary orphan-heroes of Dickens, this story
depicts real events in the lives of real orphans.
Today, I am a U.S. citizen helping others find their inner strength. Through exercise, charitable causes, prayer and meditation, one can achieve long term happiness. After over 10 years of teaching exercise, I am glad to have inspired and have been inspired by so many members from the many gyms where I teach.
